Christine J. Mackensen Memorial Scholarship
Her Story
Christine Mackensen was a wonderful part of our PDT dance family. Her children are dancers here. She leaves behind a legacy to those who were fortunate enough to have known her, that will never be forgotten, especially now with the creation of this scholarship program in her name. Her support of the studio and students is a great loss to the community, not only to PDT but to the entire Conval district, where she lived and worked as a Paraprofessional. She was kind, generous and always going out of her way to help others in need. And she loved the arts and theater, supporting her children in it all the way. We hope you know Christine, that your reach continues, in helping children who may not be as fortunate as others, and who we know will benefit from an arts education. We will always miss your smile and encouraging manner, but will see it in the smiles of the children who will benefit from this opportunity. Thank you for all you did for us. You will forever remain in our hearts.
